Uhm, no. I buy her nice things, she buys me nice things. If it wasn’t for those nice things would we still be dating. Yes, those things are just little bonuses. If she had a horrible sense of gift giving and got me terrible crappy gifts I would still love her just as much as I do now. Likewise if I couldn’t afford to pay for both of us on our dates, I know nothing would change.
